It’s stories like this why the second generation does not stand up to the first.
There has not been a storyline yet that lives up to Chris’s abandonment (and death) or Tony’s bus accident. The relationship drama isn’t as real or heartbreaking as Cassie/Tony/Sid/Michelle and these characters don’t have any hobbies or dreams, hello Jal’s music and Maxxie’s art and dancing….
Thomas’ culture clash is not even as good as Anwar’s struggle between his love for Maxxie and his religions stance on gay relationships…Come on Generation 2, step your game up.
